Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Fall Clothing Arrivals for Men & Women

Come in to see what's new

Secession Art & Design has been busy in our designers' studios, choosing our fall collection. Many of our clothing designers live in the Bay Area, so I always try to do a road trip north or south to see what they are creating in person. This last Monday I went to see the lovely ladies at Theia Grazi. As I chose skirts with pockets and fall sweaters, lightning, thunder and hail took over the landscape outside. The day was full of energy.

The weather and world are both a little wild right now. I was in my sundress as I unpacked our Bridge & Burn raincoats last week when it was 106 degrees. As I got the boutique ready for you, I began to think about clothing as a protective layer. Whether you are shopping for a new favorite raincoat, poncho, skirt, or top, these will give you warmth, self-care and confidence as you go about your day. I look forward to being your personal stylist and dressing you up.
