Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

New Year, New Clothing for Men & Women

Tuesday - Sunday, 12-7pm

January in California is bright and beautiful as we say hello to 2018. Drop by Secession for some casual shopping. Let us be your personal shopper for clothing made by small indie companies - we'll help you find the perfect layer for the chill in the air. This is the year for sweaters (thick and thin) that look great over a pair of jeans or a skirt. From winter coats that have lots of pockets and removable hoods, to the dresses that go underneath, Secession gives you permission to style however you like.

I am always so happy when I see customers and neighbors rocking their Secession clothing. I'm proud to own a boutique that encourages people to think about who makes their clothes. Your support is so much more than just buying clothing. Thank you for getting offline and experiencing Secession in person.

See you soon, Eden
