Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Secession Art & Design was founded in 2007 by Eden Stein, whose dream was to create a retail space in San Francisco to showcase local and independent art & design. Secession has one owner (Eden) and a small part-time team (Tammy, Heather, and Rob) to make the magic of running a small business in San Francisco happen.

To celebrate our 11th anniversary, we've created a Patreon fundraiser so that we can host more creative events and make sure that we have the capital to keep pursuing our dreams.
