Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

 

Celebrate Eden's birthday this weekend with Mitchell's ice cream

Secession Art & Design will be my destination this weekend for my birthday. I am having a staycation this summer, spending lots of time going to local restaurants and enjoying the outdoors. Recently, while I was out on an adventure with baby Luca, I stopped at Mitchell's to have a scoop of my favorite summer flavor, cantaloupe. The owner, Linda, asked if it was okay to give Luca a taste too. I will always remember the look on the face as he tried his first food - vanilla ice cream.
