Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Hoodies & jackets for the family - made locally

Come in Thursday - Sunday, 12-7pm

Secession Art & Design's fall clothing theme is "put a hood on it." We've had our September heatwave, but you know the cooler weather is right around the corner. From waterproof jackets to Sutro Towers that glow in the dark, you'll be ready for when the fog rolls in. For the kids, there are whimsical graphics and a new design with polka dots to add a pop to their hood.

One of the best things about curating local design is doing studio visits and meeting the makers in person. Getting to know my designers makes selling their brand even more special. Stop by Secession Thursday-Sunday 12-7 to choose what will keep you warm this fall.

XO, Eden
