Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

 

Vacation at home with ocean art

In January, I took a vacation to Sea Ranch to a rental nicknamed Lover's Reach. Overlooking the cliffs of the ocean, I cleared my head with my bouncing baby boy, taking in the salt and sea air. I had no idea this would be my last weekend trip for a really long time.

I find myself dreaming of the sunsets and some of the wintery walks my family took that refreshed my heart and soul. As I put together our current art collection at the gallery, I wanted to feel the bliss of this coastal getaway.
