Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

New gallery hours and virtual happy hour tonight!

Secession Art & Design is celebrating spring, a new show, and the fact that we're now able to open at 50% capacity. San Francisco going into the orange tier gives us the confidence to reopen our doors to the public Thursday-Sunday 12-5pm. Stop by this weekend to cheer us on and feel the bliss of shopping in a gallery & boutique again.

For now, our art openings will still be virtual. Rejuvenation is a breath of fresh air, featuring artists Lynn Rubenzer, Mark Lifvendahl, and Uma Rani Iyli. Paint that looks like fabric, splatters that resemble flowers, and whimsical houses that seem familiar but abstract.

Join us tonight 6-7pm to meet our featured artists, see their studios, and learn about their process. Click https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81545467132?pwd=SHZwaEdYMnhBd2tNdXFoSGo0bjV2Zz09 to join.

See you soon, Eden
