Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Wild Life by Yugi Priti Pop-Up

Friday, November 16, 6-8pm

Secession Art & Design is excited to host a soft launch of Yugala Priti's new collection for Wildlife Works. I first met Yugala over 15 years ago doing street fairs and fashion events. She lives part-time in the Bay Area and part-time in Kenya. Her newest designs, inspired by her travels, are 100% organic cotton grown in Africa, fair trade, and made in an ethical factory. The design and screen-print details make each item so graphic and eye-catching.

This is an exciting opportunity to meet the designer and talk to her about her journey to becoming a global designer. Be one of the first to buy pieces from her new clothing line. See you on Friday!
