Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

 

Announcing a New Addition - I got onesies on the brain!

I am thrilled and thankful to announce that Jason and I are having a baby boy in the spring. For the past 11 years, I have been growing Secession Art & Design into what it is today. I started the store off small and worked to expand it. I have been told that mamahood is similar to being a small business owner. My hope is that I can use my toolbox of being an early childhood educator (ten years in the classroom) and entrepreneurial spirit (11.5 years owning Secession) to be an amazing mom on this new adventure. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for life, love, and you for supporting me on this journey. Stop by soon to say hello and see the baby bump.
