Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Summer new arrivals for your garden, dress & jewelry collection 🌿👗💍

Shop our collection Tuesday - Sunday 12-7pm

Secession Art & Design loves a wintery summer in San Francisco. Some of our favorite new arrivals are the hand-dyed dresses by Vivid Element. Looking for a necklace you can travel in? Graffiti-inspired enamel necklaces by Iris Willow are a must to add a pop to any outfit. Want to dress up your walls? Back by popular demand are our Pride Bird prints by Joshua Coffy. Happy Pride weekend SF!

We're now carrying a seed pack that encourages gardening as a great summer activity. Made with love in Mission Bernal by a brand-new company called Joe Pye, these seeds are all native plants that support the Monarch Butterfly population. While you are out in the sun, pamper your lips with organic lip balm. I find myself obsessed with the Rose Cardamom.

Stop by the gallery & boutique this weekend to shop for our new arrivals and see what our 70-plus makers are creating just for you.
