Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

 

Installing art with a toddler

Secession Art & Design has been Luca's home away from home since he was a baby. He is now officially a toddler. My son is my sidekick in everything that I do, and that includes installing art. Instead of playing with his toys, he loves leveling paintings, hammering nails, climbing ladders, and stepping back to see the beautiful shows that his mom curates. I am proud to bring him up in our community of artists, designers, and loyal customers.
