Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Cashmere ponchos, gingko dresses and fundraiser art!

Secession Art & Design's collection is full of surprises as the days get shorter and a chill is in the air. Get cozy in a jewel-tone cashmere poncho that also doubles as a scarf. Our graphic ginkgo dress blends in with the fall leaves, and can be worn as a jacket over a dress or t-shirt. Fall is my favorite time of year to curate the clothing collection. I would love to show you all the new clothing virtually, or you can schedule a 30-minute private shopping appointment.

Our homes have become so important to our mental health this year while we social distance and change our lifestyles. Decorating and hanging art can transform a space and make each room feel new again. What piece of art will make you happy when you walk into the room? Shop our online gallery and choose in-store pickup for immediate satisfaction. Shipping is available, if you're not local.

Thank you to our loyal customers!
You rock, Eden
