Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Art & Appetizers at Emmy's - Thursday February 27, 5-6pm

Secession Art & Design is hosting appetizers at Emmy's Spaghetti Shack (3230 Mission) on Thursday, February 27 at 5-6 pm. Stop by to meet artist Hilary Williams and learn about her process of screenprinting urban landscapes using 20-30 colors. All framed prints on the wall are available for purchase. Emmy is famous for her spaghetti and meatballs - after appetizers, make a reservation to stay for dinner.

While you are in the neighborhood, visit our gallery just across the street to see Hilary's large collection of prints and original paintings.
