Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Kid's masks, tees, sparkly skirts, and women's dresses for outdoor play

Secession Art & Design is open by appointment seven days a week. You can schedule a 30-minute private session to shop our curated art, clothing, and jewelry from more than 70 designers. For everyone who is not able to visit our gallery & boutique in person, you can schedule a video call.

I love seeing our clients from all over the world. Getting to spend some one-on-one time with you has been really special. It gives me hope that with each sale Secession has a chance to stay in business.

A lot of you were asking about kid masks. We have organic cotton elastic ones and colorful stylish ones with ties that pair well with a purple sparkly skirt. Ladies, our collection of screen printed dresses with pockets and hand-dyed color-blocked dresses will be your go-to for a day at the park, outdoor dining, and socially distancing with your friends and family. I look forward to seeing your name pop up on my calendar when you schedule our time together.

See you soon,
Eden
