Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Shop Winter Clothing - Gift Art Popup in our Forecast!

Secession Art & Design is gearing up for a winter pop-up, November 17th-20th at 307 Cortland. Save the date!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love California as the seasons change. One day it's raining, the next the sun is shimmering and warming the day. Next door to us is a beautiful gigantic oak tree. One of my favorite morning rituals is to go sit outside in my favorite hoodie, listen to the abundance of birds singing and be with my thoughts before I jump into work. This gives me calm and clarity as I start my day.

Right now, I am planning our Gift Art Popup. For four days, I'll curate 307 Cortland in SF with art, clothing, and jewelry. This will be our chance to get to say hello in person and do some early gift shopping before the bustle of the holidays. I am excited to transform this Bernal oasis and see all of you!

XO Eden

P.S. Our online shop is always open! Also, if you would like to donate to our popup fundraiser you would make our day!
