Botanical Art & Ice Cream!
Secession Art & Design's art collection is in bloom with color and flowers - paintings that welcome you into a room and wake up your senses. This week's featured artists are Rachel Znerold and Phillip Hua. Both created brand-new art for our 15th Anniversary Pop-Up. Rachel took inspiration from the beautiful view from Bernal Hill to paint San Francisco at twilight. This moment in time shows us that no matter what is happening in the world, the view can make us optimistic and hopeful. Phillip's vibrant botanicals, set against a background of numbers, stocks, and gold leaf, glisten in any sun-bathed room.
All art is available for immediate purchase online. If you would like to collect your art at our pop-up at 307 Cortland on August 4-7, choose the pickup option at checkout.
Our friends at Mitchell's Ice Cream are this week's sponsors. For 65 years, this talented business has been making artful scoops in creative flavors. Some of my favorites are pumpkin and cantaloupe. I have sweet memories of my son tasting his first spoonful of vanilla ice cream when he was a baby. As Luca got older, we would go for special mama time and sit in front of their shop on warm afternoons. If you are a local or visiting San Francisco, this should be #1 on your list.
Thank you, Mitchell's, for sponsoring our 15th Anniversary!
