Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

 

Art & love rocks! My 15th wedding anniversary

We are open Thursday-Sunday 12-6pm

Fifteen years ago, I married my best friend. We rented the top floor of a warehouse overlooking the bay for our wedding. This space was a wonderful blank canvas and we got to transform it into our own vision. For our wedding gift, we asked our guests to contribute toward art. We hung the paintings at the reception, and now they hang at our home. Art makes a beautiful gift and holds so much memory.

Curating and planning our wedding was the seed that encouraged me to open Secession! I felt like I could do anything if I could pull off our beautiful day. I would love to show you our art collection at the gallery for your next small, big, or just-because occasion.
